THIS PICTURE BASICALLY SUMS UP NORTE DAME’s SEASON
After going 6-6 this season, NORTE DAME fired head coach CHARLIE WEIS today. This should come as no surprise to ANYONE as rumors swirled that WEIS has already spoken to several NFL teams regarding a potential OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR position following his eventual departure. Under Weis, the FIGHTING IRISH went 35-27 with a .565 winning percentage; which was worse then the last two coaches in SOUTH BEND.

Bobby Bowden’s future to be decided Tuesday:
Long time FLORIDA STATE coach & Hall of Famer BOBBY BOWDEN has been given the decision to take a lesser role in the 2010 season as they begin to phase out his 34 year career in favor of “Coach in waiting” JIMBO FISCHER. Bowden who is 80 years old has told the media that he will make a decision on his career on Tuesday during a press conference. While other college coaches (i.e. Weis) deserve to be shown the door, Bowden does not. It’s sad to see the University you help build turn phase you out of the program you helped build.
PENN STATE considered the same thing a couple years ago when they had a couple less then par seasons with legendary head coach JOE PATERNO, but stuck with the HALL OF FAMER and the Penn State program is back as a TOP 25 team year in and year out the last couple of years. I think many SEMINOLE fans would like to see Bowden get one more shot on his 34 year career.

As Investigation continues – Tiger Woods withdraws from own tournament
As the Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate on the TIGER WOODS car accident from Friday, Woods has withdrew from his own golf tournament due to INJURIES sustained from his car accident. Rumors continue to swirl around the real reason why Woods crashed his car and the police are looking into getting copies of the surveillance cameras from Woods’ Florida home for a better idea of what happened. According to TMZ.com warrants have been issued to get Woods’ medical records sustained from the accident.

There was a UFL Championship game?
Congrats to JIM FASSEL and the LAS VEGAS LOCOMOTIVES (cause you know when you think of Las Vegas you think of trains, right?) on winning the very first (and most likely last) UFL CHAMPIONSHIP! Wow, what an honor! Where the F*** did they get that horrible trophy?
